New exhibit and a new director will welcome visitors beginning Saturday July 18

The Gresham History Museum will reopen after being closed for almost seven months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The museum, at 410 N. Main Ave., will welcome visitors again at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18.

Patrons will find new exhibits and a new director, Mark Moore, who grew up in Gresham.

Once a historic Carnegie Library, the Gresham History Museum's new exhibit is titled "Life in Gresham 100 Years Ago." It will feature the only remaining original Meier & Frank clocks and memories from the golden age of radio.

Visitors to the museum area asked to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

The museum's regular hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
