MHCC is closed and school board meeting is canceled, Centennial also pauses classes

Continued power outages and lingering dicey road conditions following the recent snow and ice storm has prompted some schools to alter their operations for Wednesday.

Mt. Hood Community College canceled all in-person and remote classes for Wednesday, Feb. 17. The MHCC Board of Education meeting scheduled for Wednesday night is also canceled "in the interest of transparency and greatest community accessibility," the college announced.

The Centennial School District canceled distance learning and food distribution for Wednesday, Feb. 17.

Gresham-Barlow School District said its meal programs are canceled, along with all after school activities on Wednesday, Feb. 17.

Reynolds School District is holding classes remotely, but has limited meal distribution.

Multnomah Learning Academy (MLA) Charter School is closed.
