Adult male victim expected to survive multiple gunshot wounds from May 19 incident

A victim who was shot multiple times in Northeast Portland was left outside a hospital in Gresham Wednesday evening, May 19.

Around 4:28 p.m. Portland Police Bureau East Precinct officers responded to a call of shots heard in the area of Northeast 148th Avenue and Glisan Street. Law enforcement found evidence of gunfire, but no one injured.

About 30 minutes later officers were notified a patient with gunshot wounds was left at a Gresham hospital. The adult male was seriously injured but is expected to survive. His vehicle was located in the 1800 block of Northeast 162nd Avenue with gunfire damage.

Portland Police Enhanced Community Safety Team is investigating. There are no suspects or motives at this time.
