Gunfire at 2nd St. Bar Saturday evening, July 10, injures one; suspect still at large.

COURTESY PHOTO: GRESHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT - The trajectory a bullet was travelling when a bouncer was shot and injured Saturday night, July 10. A late-night altercation at a downtown Gresham bar led to gunfire and one injury after a bouncer was struck in the head by a bullet Saturday, July 10.

Around 11 p.m. Gresham police responded to reports of a shooting at 2nd St. Bar, 42 N.E. Second St. During the investigation officers learned an altercation between several patrons led to the shooting. No suspect has been taken into custody at this time.

A bouncer working the front door was injured by gunfire after he was struck in the head by a single bullet. He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

The shooting is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Gresham Police tip line at 503-618-2719.
