Harvest bazaars across East Multnomah County offer chance to find handmade gifts

Even a pandemic hasn't stopped Santa's elves from working overtime preparing for the holidays. The gift-giving season is upon us and several local crafts people are ready to help you find something for everyone on your list. Here's a sampling of some upcoming Harvest Bazaars that will surely satisfy your search for a personal, handmade gift.

Oct. 23-24

10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Parkrose Historical Society, 10750 N.E. Sandy Blvd., Portland. More than 60 vendors will offer their arts and crafts. There will also be live music and food.

Oct. 27-28

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Gresham Senior Center, 600 N.E. Eighth St. Local vendors and artisans from the Senior Center will offer handmade items including cheeseboards, aprons, quilts and jewelry. Proceeds benefit the Senior Center.

Nov. 12-13

9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Barn Boutique, Sandy Grange, 34705 S.E. Kelso Road. The 12th annual boutique features handmade treasures by local artists offering jewelry, knit items, soaps, candles, cards, ornaments, aprons and more.
