Local events could fill holiday gift needs
Even a pandemic hasn't stopped Santa's elves from working overtime preparing for the holidays. The gift-giving season is upon us and several local crafts people are ready to help you find something for everyone on your list. Here's a sampling of some upcoming Harvest Bazaars that will surely satisfy your search for a personal, handmade gift.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Parkrose Historical Society, 10750 N.E. Sandy Blvd., Portland. More than 60 vendors will offer their arts and crafts. There will also be live music and food.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Gresham Senior Center, 600 N.E. Eighth St. Local vendors and artisans from the Senior Center will offer handmade items including cheeseboards, aprons, quilts and jewelry. Proceeds benefit the Senior Center.
9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Barn Boutique, Sandy Grange, 34705 S.E. Kelso Road. The 12th annual boutique features handmade treasures by local artists offering jewelry, knit items, soaps, candles, cards, ornaments, aprons and more.Â
