Centennial School District pushes students to get the COVID-19 vaccine with free clinics.

One clinic is offering families the first dose from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 22, and the second dose from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14, both at Oliver Elementary, 15840 S.E. Taylor St., Portland.

Another clinic is offering first doses from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23, then giving second doses from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16. These clinics will be at Meadows Elementary, 18009 S.E. Brooklyn St., Portland.

Although the district recommends registering for the event on its website, drop-ins are accepted. Patients under 15 years old will require parental/guardian consent to receive vaccination. Spanish and Russian interpreters will be available at each of the clinics.

Centennial School District partnered with Legacy Health Services, Metropolitan Family Service and Immunize Oregon to provide the clinics.
