Mailboxes at Arts Plaza, Rockwood Central Park delivered directly to North Pole

PMG PHOTO: CHRISTOPHER KEIZUR - Send letters to the North Pole at one of two red mailboxes in Gresham. The city of Gresham has set up an express mail route to ensure everyone in the community can get their letters to Santa Claus before Christmas.

Last year, Jolly Old St. Nicholas gifted the city with a pair of brilliant red mailboxes so he would get more correspondences from East County kids. Those mailboxes are at the Gresham Arts Plaza, 401 N.E. Second St.; and Rockwood Central Park, 17707 S.E. Main St., at the Yamhill Street park entrance.

Letters are picked up and delivered to the North Pole weekly from Monday, Nov. 29, through Dec. 31. No postage is necessary.

Volunteers at Secret Santa Charities helps the city of Gresham send the letters safely to Santa's Workshop. Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves love to read each and every letter, and will do their best to write back.
