Golden Amore puts animals first with personalized touch, 40 years of experience with canines.

When Lori Fuller was laid off from her job during the pandemic, her future was uncertain. COURTESY PHOTO: GOLDEN AMORE - Golden Amore has four spacious kennels, which come with fluffy beds and doggy doors.

Having groomed and trained dogs for 40 years, her children pushed her to pursue what she knew. So, in the beginning of this year, Fuller decided to open Golden Amore.

The family-owned business is located at 29730 S.E. Old Ranch Drive in Estacada and offers a spacious setting for dogs that stay the night.

Fuller has been working with animals since she was a kid and was part of the local 4-H organization. Her parents were both dog trainers.

"Training and showing dogs has always been my passion," Fuller said. "Now I get to do that while I am at home, and it also allows me to hang out with my family and my dogs."

Fuller has tried to make Golden Amore a one-stop shop for many dog services. From overnight kennels, basic obedience training, grooming and doggy day care, Fuller wants to provide the best experience for every dog that comes through her doors.

We try to have a personalized touch here," Fuller said. "Our kennels are cleaned daily, are safe and dogs under our care get the attention all day long. There are others who don't provide some of the things that we do like doggy doors that allow our dogs to go outside anytime they want."

Fuller also is proud of Golden Amore's country setting that provides a more naturalistic space that is different from other concrete-based kennels.
