Three candidates bring knowledge, experience to council and mayoral positions

I am writing in support of three city council candidates, Kathleen Walker, Rich Sheldon, and our former mayor Linda Malone.

Kathleen is a tireless advocate for many causes. She's the reason we have the community gem, the Tickle Creek trail. She's been an advocate for parks and sound development in Sandy for decades. In recent months she has been like an extra member of the city council at meetings showing that she was as informed as anyone on the council.

After reading the about Position 3 city council candidates in the Sandy Post, the contrast couldn't be more stark. One of the candidates knows what he is asking voters for and what he would do for citizens if he's elected. His preparation and attention to the task is clearly evident. Rich Sheldon stands head and shoulders above his opponent.

Linda Malone has already had a distinguished career as our mayor. I am thrilled to know that she's willing to again commit to serving our community. Her prior experience on the council will be invaluable.

Please join me in voting for Kathleen Walker, Rich Sheldon and Linda Malone for Sandy City Council.
