The academy will also host performances at 1 and 6 p.m. Saturdays Jan. 20 and 27.

Productions will be held at SALT Theater, 333 N. Main Ave., Gresham. The cost is $8 for general admission, with kids 2 and younger free. No tickets at the door.

Tour offered Jan. 20 at Zimmerman Farm

East County Historical Organization (ECHO) will host the Zimmerman Heritage Farm Tour noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at 17111 N.E. Sandy Blvd., Gresham.

The historic Zimmerman House was built in 1874 and was home to three generations of the Zimmerman Family. Their furnishings and personal articles remain in this two-story Victorian home, with nine rooms open to the public.

ECCO presents its winter concert

The East County Community Orchestra will perform a free concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, in the Horner Performing Arts Center at David Douglas High School, 1400 S.E. 130th Ave., Portland.

The theme of the concert is "potpourri," with featured selections from Brahms' First Symphony, "Mamma Mia" and Suite from Tannhauser. New Director David Kinch and musicians will greet audience members during an intermission with free refreshments.

Donations, which are tax deductible, are welcome.

Planetarium presents Rocks from Space

Mt. Hood Community College Planetarium Director Pat Hanrahan will share stories about meteors and meteorites at 6 and 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6 and Friday, Feb. 9, in the college's planetarium, 26000 S.E. Stark St., Gresham.

The show is titled "Rocks from Space: Meteors, Meteorites and Impacts ... Oh My!"
