Parklane Park Meeting — 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, Parklane Elementary Gym, 15811 S.E. Main St. Parklane Park is being expanded from five to 25 acres. Portland Parks & Recreation is looking for ideas on what community members would like to see in the new part of the park. There will be complimentary snacks. Kids are welcome. Russian and Spanish language translators will be on hand.
Library Performance — 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, Rockwood Library, 17917 S.E. Stark St. Celebrate Black History month with a free performance. It includes interactive poetry, live music, visual art and more to prompt sharing experiences and discussion about community and growth.

Donate Books, CDs — 9 a.m to 3 p.m. Monday Feb. 24, through Wednesday, Feb. 26, St. Henry Catholic Church, 346 N.W. First St. Donate books, DVDs, CDs and other media to the parish for a used book sale to be held Saturday, Feb. 29, and Sunday, March 1.
Citizenship Classes — 12:30-2 p.m. Sundays through March 22, Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave. Experts from Mission: Citizen will help people with the process of becoming a citizen in this free series of classes, which are taught in English.
