Central Catholic ensured itself a spot in the state's top 10 heading into the 6A playoffs with a dominating 58-7 win at Gresham on Friday night.
The Rams scored less than two minutes into the game on Miles Jackson's 86-yard run down the left sideline.
Gresham's defense worked to keep the Gophers in the game early, stopping the Rams on downs on their next possession and forcing a fumble later in the quarter.
Central Catholic found its groove on touchdown runs by Elijah Elliot and again by Jackson to go up 20-0 midway through the second quarter.
Central Catholic (7-2) hosts South Salem in next Friday's first round, while Gresham (4-4) travels to Southwest Conference champ South Medford.
