Team Score
Oregon City (3-0)
Barlow (2-1)

The Barlow boys distance crew ran circles around their Oregon City foes on a rainy Wednesday afternoon, but it wasn't enough for the Bruins to pull off a win over the reigning 6A track champs.

The Bruins surrendered only one point in the distance races, scoring 1-2-3 sweeps in the 1,500-and 3,000-meter races, along with a 1-2 combo in the 800.

Oregon City responded by scoring first-place points in every other event on the track.

The Pioneers won 12 of the day's 17 events to claim the 84-61 dual victory. Oregon City is the only remaining unbeaten boys team in the Mount Hood Conference.

• Oregon City claimed a 73.5-70.5 win in the girls dual, clinching the team victory when Alexis Pearson won the 300 hurdles (49.87) late in the day.
