Jesse White puts up 35 points in Barlow boys win, Reynolds has pair of runner-up wrestlers at Muillenberg

Tuesday, Dec. 17

BARLOW 83, TUALATIN 63 — Barlow's Jesse White hit six buckets in the first quarter on his way to a game-high 35 points. He knocked down five 3-pointers in the first half. Teammate Joey Wolcott added 22 points, 12 of them coming in the third quarter, as Barlow saw its lead grow to 61-50.

Evan Inglesby went 9-for-9 at the free-throw line and finished with 20 points.

FOREST GROVE 59, REYNOLDS 48 — The Raiders got a pair of 3-pointers from Jovany Guzman to outscore the Vikings in the second quarter and trim the margin to a seven-point halftime deficit. But that proved to be the only quarter that fell in Reynolds' favor, as the Vikings went 12-for-15 (80%) from the free-throw line to seal the win.

Guzman led the Raiders with 13 points, while Brandon Buffington added 12.


Saturday, Dec. 13

REYNOLDS PLACES 10TH — The Raiders tallied 103 points to tie Banks for 10th place out of 18 teams at the Muillenberg Invitational.

Robert Plympton pinned three opponents on his way to second place at 195 pounds, while teammate Cody Beveridge also had three pins on his way to second place in the 106 bracket.

Barlow was 13th with 86 points. Titus Trayhorn led the Bruins with a 5-1 record including, each win by fall, on his way to third place at 152 pounds.
