Jesse White climbs to fifth on all-time list

Barlow High senior guard Jesse White put up a game-high 23 points in Saturday's playoff win over Westview, pushing him past West Linn graduate and current Oregon Duck guard Payton Pritchard into fifth on Oregon's big-school all-time scoring list.

White has 2,123 career points.

NWAC suspends basketball championships

A student at host school Everett Community College tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, leading to the suspension of the Northwest Junior College basketball championships. The league is in discussions to find a new site, but nothing was confirmed through Sunday night.

The Mt. Hood women's team upset North Region champ Whatcom 75-72 in Thursday's opening round before the tournament was suspended several hours later.
