There was no shortage of pumpkins at Hillockburn Farm this weekend.

At the second annual pumpkin extravaganza on Saturday, Oct. 23, every attendee left with one of the spooky gourds. Hillockburn Farm purchased all of the pumpkins, and community members could take one for free.

Rebecca Kaihani, owner of the farm at 27412 S. Hillockburn Road, explained that the event got its start last October, after the Riverside and Dowty Road fires. She and her family wanted to do something to support the community.

Attendees could also explore the wares for sale at the farm. Additionally, vendors sold kettle corn, elephant ears, charcuterie boxes and cocktails.
