The sun is making an appearance and it is time to get out of the house and into the fresh air on an E-Bike. Perhaps you feel a bike ride is too much for your first spring outing. And just what is an E-Bike?

An E-Bike is a mountain bike with 4.5 inch wide tires and a heavy duty frame. What makes this beefy bike, which weighs in at 70 pounds, an E-Bike is the electric motor mounted on the frame. You can pedal, moving the bike under your own power or you can engage the motor to give you a pedaling assist of more than 50%. If you are tired, (or out of shape from binge watching Game of Thrones) you can adjust the motor to provide all the power while you sit up and enjoy the ride. And an E-Bike can reach speeds of about 20 miles per hour. The electric motor is powered by a battery which is good for 40 to 50 miles on each charge. The bike is easy to ride, suitable for most riders.

Take the kids, your mom, or impress your date with a fresh air ride around beautiful Henry Hagg Lake. Really up the game and pack a picnic with a bottle of local Oregon wine or bakery treats.

You can rent a bike now by the hour, day or week at winter rates. Call 503-781-7848 to reserve an E-Bike or ask questions.
