After the imposed lockdown of 20-21 we have learned the value of getting active both physically and mentally.

We've spent more time at home and in isolation than ever before and we don't like it. We have moved less and reduced our interactions with others, sending our stress levels through the roof. It's not good for us. We know that poor fitness and physical health increases risks associated with mental illness and chronic disease.

Here are some scary facts: According to the US 2016 National Health Interview Survey, 48% of adults are not meeting guidelines for aerobic activity, and 78% are not meeting guidelines for both aerobic and strength training. U.S. adolescents and adults spend almost eight hours a day in sedentary behaviors. This means sitting down. Approximately 36% of adults engage in no physical activity at all. Like none.

All this not exercising leads to higher risks for cancer, diabetes, heart disease, depression, poor sleep, weight gain and dementia. The Gym doesn't want you to suffer.
