West Tuality Habitat for Humanity

There is a way for you to be involved in Habitat for Humanity's goal of getting people into their own homes. Volunteer for a day or become a regular for West Tuality Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit that helps families access affordable home ownership. West Tuality Habitat for Humanity assists families to build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Here are a few of the many ways to get involved.

Construction Projects: No previous experience is needed to work on home construction or repair projects. Framing, siding, painting, flooring, fencing, trim work, landscaping, drainage, and finish work happens 3 days a week, year-around. All tools and training are supplied for you.

A repair volunteer does yard work, exterior painting, major or minor repairs, and more for Habitat clients.

Committees assist our mission to build and repair homes on the west side. Serve on an event committee, a home application committee, a repair project committee, and more.

Work in the ReStore at 3731 Pacific Ave. in Forest Grove. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the store accepts donations that are resold to general public. The ReStore needs volunteers from all walks of life. Positions include cashier, stocking, processing, and pickup and delivery.

Help office staff. If you would like to be involved but don't swing hammers or work a cash register you can work in our office by helping staff by assembling newsletters, distributing flyers, filing paperwork, and performing other tasks.
