At 11:37 a.m., deputies responded to a hold-up alarm at the Wells Fargo Bank at 3435 S.W. 182nd Ave. Employees reported that a man entered the bank and demanded money. The man received a small amount of cash and fled on foot westbound on Southwest Alexander Street.

No weapon was seen, and no one was injured during the robbery. Multiple deputies, including a police dog, converged and searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

Witnesses reported the suspect was a black male, about 30 years old, six feet tall, wearing dark clothing and a camouflage hat. Deputies investigating the robbery are searching through evidence, photographs and witness statements to gain additional information.

The Washington County Violent Crimes Unit Detectives continue to investigate this case. Detectives are asking for the public’s help to solve this crime.
