Southwest 205th Avenue in Aloha will close starting Monday, Aug. 12, for two weeks of maintenance work, the Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation has announced.
The road crosses Beaverton Creek just outside Hillsboro city limits, in between West Baseline Road and the MAX light rail line. That creek crossing is in need of repair, according to the county.
During the closure, construction crews will replace components of the bridge and remove its deteriorating deck.
Traffic will be detoured along Northeast Quatama Street and Cornelius Pass Road and West Baseline Road.
While work is ongoing, 205th Avenue will remain open between Baseline Road and Northwest Gracie Street. It will be closed south of Quatama Street.
The road is set to reopen Aug. 25.
