COURTESY PHOTO - Ismael Lopez Jr.Drugs and cash collectively valued at more than $100,000 were confiscated in a Hillsboro raid last month, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office said Friday, Jan. 3, that investigators searched two locations — one in the 2900 block of Northeast Moda Way, another in the 1200 block of Southeast Alder Street — on Dec. 17 following an investigation.

According to the agency, 27-year-old Edgar Mandujano-Lopez and 28-year-old Ivan Cornejo-Marin, both of Hillsboro, were arrested for delivery and possession of cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine. A third suspect, 31-year-old Ismael Lopez Jr., also of Hillsboro, remains at large.

The Sheriff's Office said that about 15 pounds of methamphetamine, half a pound of heroin and 3.25 ounces of cocaine were seized in the bust, along with 273 counterfeit prescription pills and about $17,000 in cash. The street value of the drugs seized is estimated at more than $90,000, authorities noted.

The Dec. 17 drug bust was carried out by the Westside Interagency Narcotics team, which includes personnel from the Sheriff's Office, the Beaverton Police Department, the Hillsboro Police Department, the Oregon National Guard, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the FBI.
