Hillsboro Hops sells branded face masks to help Community Action
Baseball season is on hold right now due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the Hillsboro Hops are finding a way for fans to show support while helping the community.
The team is partnering with Baseballism to sell a limited number of Hops and Baseballism co-branded face masks to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. Baseballism is a lifestyle brand inspired by America's pastime and was founded by four former college baseball players.
According to a press release on June 3, 100% of the profits will be donated to the non-profit, Community Action.
"The organization has been offering hope, help and change for families in transition for over 50 years," said the team in a statement. "The Hillsboro-based non-profit leads the way in addressing issues of poverty."
