COURTESY PHOTO: HILLSBORO POLICE - Police arrested a suspect in connection to a shooting in early April on Highway 26 near Cornelius Pass Road. The Hillsboro Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection to a shooting in April, according to a press release from the agency.

Police say Carl Ryon Anthony Sehy, 32, of Portland, is suspected of a shooting on U.S. Highway 26 near Northeast Cornelius Pass Road on April 6.

Sehy was allegedly driving his vehicle eastbound on the freeway when he fired multiple rounds at another vehicle driving eastbound.

Police say there were five victims inside the vehicle and none were seriously injured.

Sehy fled the scene and wasn't located until Friday, May 6, at about 12:15 p.m., police said. He has been lodged at the Washington County Jail on suggested charges of attempted murder, unlawful use of a weapon and felony firearms possession.

Court records indicate Sehy has prior criminal convictions for robbery and kidnapping.
