The Hillsboro Police Department reports some notable calls for service from May 16-22, 2022.

Monday, May 16

Three suspects were spotted stealing a catalytic converter from the 2200 block of Southeast Thrush Avenue. The suspect vehicle is a maroon 1990s Mitsubishi Lancer with damage to the rear bumper. This vehicle is associated with other catalytic converter thefts.

A man went to the 800 block of Southwest Baseline Street and demanded he get his truck back. Officers arrived and asked the man to leave. The man left but then gave vague threats towards the officers.

Tuesday, May 17

A store employee in the 1000 block of Southeast Walnut Street was arrested after she admitted to stealing over $4,100 from a cash register.

A man in the 800 block of Southwest 185th Avenue was taken into custody on multiple warrants for his arrest.

Wednesday, May 18

A man robbed a business in the 7400 block of Northeast Imbrie Drive with a gun and took all of the money out of the cash register. About an hour later, the Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to a robbery at a business at Northwest Cornell Road and Murray Boulevard with a similar suspect description.

A woman was stopped because she was driving the wrong way on the roadway near Southeast Fourth Avenue and Washington Street. She was arrested for DUII (alcohol).

Thursday, May 19

A woman was seen running in and out of traffic on Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway and Imlay Drive and taking her clothes off. She was taken to the hospital for mental assistance.

Resident found an unknown man wearing a mask and gloves inside his apartment in the 10100 block of Northeast Evergreen Parkway. The resident pointed his firearm at the suspect and the suspect left.

Friday, May 20

A suspect broke into a business in the 1200 block of Northeast Orenco Station Parkway and stole about $300 in cash, along with other miscellaneous items.

A catalytic converter was stolen from an RV in the 500 block of Northwest 185th Avenue.

Saturday, May 21

A man was arrested after he stole about $17 from the tip jar at a business in the 200 block of Southeast Baseline Street.

A man overdosed on fentanyl in the 2100 block of Northwest 185th Avenue. Officers deployed Narcan, likely saving his life.

Sunday, May 22

A man was arrested for DUII in the 5300 block of East Main Street. His blood alcohol content was measured at two and a half times the legal limit.

Officers responded to a shooting near East Main Street and Northeast Century Boulevard. The victim was transported to a Portland-area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
