Monday, May 30

A man was arrested after he assaulted an employee and damaged property at the repair shop in the 200 block of Southeast Washington Street because he was upset his car wasn't done sooner.

A man attempted to sell methamphetamine to a clerk in the 1000 block of Southeast Maple Street. When police arrived, the subject ran away but was located a short time later and arrested for interfering with a police officer and criminal trespassing.

Tuesday, May 31

A man stole two pairs of shoes from the 2300 block of Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway and left in a silver Honda Element. An officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspect began driving recklessly and the officer did not continue pursuing out of safety for other drivers.

Two men in the 2500 block of Northeast Overlook Drive were called in because of acting suspicious. The men were in a red 2002 Chevy Impala. They had multiple tools that have been used in the process of stealing catalytic converters, such as gloves, headlamp, a Sawzall and a floor jack.

Wednesday, June 1

A white 1996 Ford F-150 with a tube frame and a Leer canopy was stolen from the 4300 block of Northeast 59th Avenue.

A man was arrested near Northwest Connell Avenue for DUII, attempted assault on a public safety officer and resisting arrest. The man refused to a blood draw, so a warrant was written for his blood.

Thursday, June 2

A white 2022 Hyundai Kona was stolen from the 1200 block of Northeast 17th Avenue. This was part of a car share scam. The vehicle was later located by GPS in Tennessee.

Officers responded to a fight between about 20 young women near Southeast 12th Avenue and Baseline Street. All involved left prior to police arrival.

Friday, June 3

A woman was arrested for theft after she stole socks and shorts from the 2100 block of Northeast 106th Avenue.

A man was arrested in the 100 block of Southeast 30th Avenue for texting his girlfriend in violation of his restraining order.

Saturday, June 4

A stolen vehicle was located near Southeast 62nd Avenue and Frances Street with a man and woman inside. Officers boxed the vehicle in and deployed a Taser to arrest the suspects. They were arrested for multiple warrants and unlawful use of a vehicle.

A woman in the 6600 block of Southeast Frances Street was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation after she was found running around the neighborhood naked.

Sunday, June 5

A man was arrested for stealing in the 2300 block of Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway. As police were arriving, they found the man getting into his vehicle.

A man was driving his friend's Ford F-350 near Northeast Brookwood Parkway and Cornell Road when he lost control, hit several trees and rolled the truck several times. He was arrested for DUII.
