Monday, July 25

A man spat in the face of a customer while inside a store in the 300 block of South First Avenue. The man took off running and was chased by multiple witnesses, who pointed out to responding officers where the man was hiding. The man was located inside a building by officers. The officers arrested him for physical harassment and took him to jail.

A heavily intoxicated man drove onto the MAX tracks westbound at Northwest 185th Avenue and East Baseline Street, then tried to call in his truck as stolen. The passenger in the truck told officers the truth about what had happened, and the driver was arrested for DUII.

Tuesday, July 26

A person called in to report two generators, a wheelbarrow, a chop saw, a power washer and ladders were stolen from their construction site in the 300 block of Southeast Baseline Street overnight. The investigation is ongoing.

A man was issued a citation in lieu of custody for disorderly conduct and public indecency after repeatedly pulling his pants down in a fast food restaurant in the 2000 block of Southeast Cypress Street after people refused to give him money.

Wednesday, July 27

An unknown suspect smashed the glass out of a front door to a business in the 11000 block of Northeast Evergreen Parkway, entered the business and stole cash from the register. Police evidence technicians were called to process the scene.

A man was arrested and went to jail for domestic violence, criminal mischief and violation of a release agreement after he showed up at his mother's house in the 900 block of Southeast 13th Avenue and damaged the walls and a TV.

Thursday, July 28

A black 1997 Honda Civic was stolen while parked on the street in the 10000 block of Northeast Evergreen Parkway sometime overnight.

A man was arrested in the 2700 block of Southeast 73rd Avenue for multiple domestic violence-related crimes after he allegedly assaulted his wife in front of their 3-year-old daughter. The man was taken to jail.

Friday, July 29

A man was arrested for DUII after he walked away from crashing his car into the railings near Northeast Cornelius Pass Road and Highway 26. The crash damage was estimated to be over $1,000 in damages.

A man was arrested in the 9000 block of Northeast Turing Court for DUII and domestic violence-related charges after reports from multiple callers.

Saturday, July 30

A driver was called in after a citizen observed very poor driving on Highway 26 near Northeast Brookwood Parkway. Officers located the vehicle and arrested the man and took him to jail for DUII.

A man crashed his pickup into a ditch in the 900 block of Southwest Hillsboro Highway and was arrested for DUII. The man was taken to jail.

Sunday, July 31

A man in the 10000 block of Northeast Heritage Parkway was called in for openly using drugs in public. When the man was contacted by officers, he was found to have warrants for his arrest and taken to jail.

A couple had an argument which drew police to the 1000 block of Northeast Briar Creek Way. No crime on this instance, but a no-contact order from a previous domestic violence instance was found to be current and in effect. The man, who was to have no contact with the female, was taken to jail.
