Luxury apartments being built in Hillsboro's Amberglen community
A large luxury apartment complex is planned for the Amberglen neighborhood in Hillsboro, as Atlanta-based developer Wood Partners announced that groundbreaking began last week.
The 18-acre development, called Alta Amberglen, will be built on a wooded site near Amerglen Park and will offer 326 apartment units. It is expected to be fully open in 2024, and pre-leasing for units will begin next year, according to the press release.
Once completed, the apartment complex will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans and full townhome units. Amenities include an on-site "pocket park" and a 10-acre wooded area and natural stream.
Community commons areas will include a fitness and yoga studio, a podcasting studio, a virtual golf simulator, and areas for hosting social gatherings.
"Wood Partners is excited to take the next step in expanding our footprint within the Pacific Northwest with the groundbreaking of our newest property in the Portland metro area, Alta Amberglen," said Michael Nagy, managing director for Wood Partners, in the press release.
"The community will be situated in the transforming Amberglen neighborhood, which is attracting a multitude of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects," he added. "As the area continues to grow, we look forward to serving its residents and providing a comfortable and convenient place to call home."
