This week we only had room for a single letter, about school board candidate See Eun Kim.

This May, vote Kim for Hillsboro Schools

I am proud to support See Eun Kim for Hillsboro School Board. I have gotten to know See Eun this year through our shared interest in Hillsboro and local government.

See Eun is passionate about our education system and ensuring that students and staff have access to the resources they need in a time when our government, both local and national, are cutting funding. With her background as an educator and regularly volunteering in HSD classrooms, See Eun will provide crucial first hand knowledge to the school board. As the only candidate in this race with teaching experience, See Eun has a much needed and thoughtful voice to contribute to the board.

See Eun's background as an immigrant and her transition to a successful US education are another important piece that mirror the experiences of many HSD students. With a diverse student population it's important that our school board reflect this.

See Eun Kim has global service experience in addition to her classroom experience, which she will leverage to ensure HSD students are prepared to compete in the global economy. I am proud to support See Eun in this school board election, please join me in voting for her on May 21st.
