Washington County Sheriff's Office seeks information on the shooting near Rock Creek Drive on Sunday.

WCSO PHOTO - The 2007 BMW 3-series sedan had its back window shot out following a parking dispute, police say. Washington County Sheriff's deputies are investigating after a gunman apparently opened fire over a bad parking job.

The shooting was reported around 3:22 a.m. on Sunday, June 16, near the intersection of Northwest Rock Creek Drive and Landing Drive in Rock Creek, according to a news release.

"The investigation revealed that right before the shooting, the suspect complained about how the BMW had been parked at a nearby business," officers say.

WSCO's violent crimes unit continues to investigate, and asks anyone with information to call 503-846-2700. The Hillsboro Police Department also assisted deputies at the scene.
