Find new life for old family jewelry
After spending the last month buying for other people, the start of the new year is the perfect time to do something for yourself.
At this time of year, we often have people bringing us little boxes or baggies of family jewelry. These may be pieces that have been recently passed on to them, or it may be jewelry that has been gathering dust for years. Often, it doesn't match their style, but there is an emotional connection to the piece that they want to save.
It's a very rewarding undertaking for us to try to give these pieces new life. One of the most important steps we take at Trios Studio is to sit down and take the time to listen to people's stories.
From there, we can determine what gems or parts to design a new piece around. The costs of these restyles can vary, but we have the experience to find options that fit different budgets.
A wedding set is a family piece we are often asked to redesign. We use the diamonds, gems and band from the original setting to create something new. Sometimes, we can capture meaningful parts from different pieces - from a great-grandmother, grandmother and mother, for example - into a special new ring for a daughter.
Instead of allowing these sentimental pieces to continue to gather dust in a box, let us create a unique and treasured piece you'll want to wear and pass down yourself.
