Is time going faster than ever for you too?
Appreciation may be the antidote.
Many people turning 40 or 50 years of age now begin to take time much more seriously. And this last year, people of all ages seemed to notice how fast life went. Turning 50, however, makes us look back at things we could or could not have changed, as the Serenity prayer goes, 'with the courage to know the difference.'
At 60, many begin to count down the years they may have left. Visiting with a friend who is 64 at a café this past week, they said, "I think I have about 20 to 25 years left." Imagine it.
Others, turning 80 or 90, still take the time to grab or plan for the opportunity to do something they still want or hoped to do.
Life is short, and precious. Take time to plan your healthcare, and join the growing number of centenarians around the world. Appreciating daily and with good chocolate helps.
