Our aesthetic is certainly informed by our time living in Italy, New York, Los Angeles and now Portland, said Kricken Yaker, who co-owns Vanillawood with her husband James. Id like to think our work has the urban feel of New York, paired with the relaxed lifestyle of Los Angeles gutsy street style meets sunshine in a bottle.
Whether you want to remodel, build new or just refresh a space, Vanillawoods design team offers approachable on-budget solutions customized to your specific project. The firm offers personalized service from concept to completion; customers work with the same team throughout the entire project, which the Yakers believe results in significant time and cost savings.
We have over a decade of experience designing, building and sourcing, the couple said in a release. We believe every project brings a new opportunity to push the envelope. The minute you meet us, youll see our passion for smart, gutsy design. We believe great design is collaborative and that we should learn something new every day.
