Tabitha Becker, Psy. D., and Erika Doty, Psy. D., have opened 360 Pediatric Psychology, P.C., Neurobehavioral Partners at 201 B Ave., Suite 285 in Lake Oswego. As licensed clinical psychologists the women have developed a concierge approach to attending to the cognitive, emotional, behavioral and developmental needs of children and their families.

“We take a 360 degree approach and help with all aspects as advocates for children,” Doty said. “By working with the child’s school, medical team, teachers, IEP, coaches and other people of importance we can maximize his or her potential.”

The psychologists work with clients ages 2 to 25 years old and offer a variety of assessments, such as psycho-educational evaluations, SAT/ACT accommodations testing, Talented and Gifted (TAG) testing, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD),concussion evaluations, traumatic brain injury evaluations, autism and development evaluations, adaptive behavioral evaluations and social/emotional/behavioral evaluations.

The women recognize that public school special education departments cannot keep up with the load of children needing services, which leaves parents wondering what to do next.

“Parents may get evaluations and then are left with the question ‘now what do I do?’” Becker said. “We can streamline the process and get the child the help they need.”

The women state they offer quality, streamlined assistance by providing gold-standard assessment, treatment and communication between their patients’ caregivers, educators and medical support teams. They strive to provide a quality experience in helping to identify next steps, referral and consultative services and by acting as personal advocates to ensure a seamless, positive transition to long-term wellness.

360 Pediatric Psychology offers short-term therapy in cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, behavioral pediatric services.

The clinic also offers parent training in a variety of concerns, such as pill swallowing difficulties; graduated school re-entry following illness; habit disorders such as thumb sucking, hair pulling and tics; establishing school accommodation plans; self-calming skills; sibling rivalry, sleep difficulties, establishing bedtime and meal routines; toilet training and other transition difficulties.
