Griffin House to play at Lake Theater
The award-winning Music Mondays concert series at Lake Theater and Cafe will present American songwriter Griffin House at 7 p.m. Sept. 18.
For more than a decade, House has toured nationally with Rex Sexsmith, Patti Sciala, Josh Ritter, John Mellencamp, Mat Kearney and The Cranberries. House is also currently on a solo national tour promoting the upcoming release of his album "So On and So Forth."
According to Dean Mueller, creator of the Music Mondays concert series, in the new album, "it is clear the artist digs deep and offers up his narrative after much reflection."
"House is now a young family man and artist who is choosing sobriety and celebrating the path to his success, through songs which share his perspective on how people remember the past with rose-colored glasses, how we grow up and realize what we deeply need, and how we must find happiness in ourselves in the present," Mueller says.
The show is an all-ages show. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 general admission.
Lake Theater and Cafe is located at 106 N. State St. in Lake Oswego. Purchase tickets online at laketheatercafe.com/#music-mondays.
