Oct. 27 (7 a.m.-4 p.m.) — Luscher Farm Crosstoberfest Cyclocross Race at Luscher Farm, 125 Rosemont Road, West Linn. Costumes encouraged. Event includes food, drinks and beer, music and much more. Approved helmets required. Participants must join Oregon Bicycle Racing Association to ride in the race. Annual membership is $20 or purchase a single-event membership for $5. Oct. 27 (9 a.m.) — Watch Garden Time on KPDX Fox 12 Plus. This week's show features building a greenhouse, mushroom harvesting and the annual mushroom show at the World Forestry Center, and holiday decorating trends.
Oct. 27 (9:30-11 a.m.) — Attend Wilsonville's Fall Harvest Festival at Stein Boozier Barn at Murase Plaza, 8300 S.W. Memorial Drive, Wilsonville. The event includes pumpkin decorating, horse and wagon rides, story time and a kids' costume parade. Free; donations accepted for Wilsonville Community Share, which connects at-risk Wilsonville residents to food, housing, prescriptions and other services.
Oct. 27 (7:30 p.m.) — Hear British fingerstyle guitarist Clive Carroll in concert with West Linn guitarist Mark Hanson and vocalist Greta Pedersen at Multnomah Friends Meeting Hall, 4312 S.E. Stark, Portland. For tickets, visit MarkHansonGuitar.com/events or call 503-699-1814.
Oct. 28 (9-11 a.m.) — West Linn Lutheran Church will host an open house and reception for parishoner and photographer Rich Enger and the Coffee Creek Quilters in its Creative Spirits Art Gallery. All are welcome to attend the free event; the church is located at 20390 Willamette Drive in West Linn.
Oct. 30 (7:30 p.m.) — Lewis & Clark College presents the James W. Rogers Concert at the Agnes Flanagan Chapel on campus, 0615 S.W. Palatine Hill Road in Portland. Hear faculty and students play music on the theme of "Dreams of Childhood." Free; reception follows.
Oct. 31 (3:30-5 p.m.) — Trick-or-treating at Lake Oswego Indoor Play Park for children up to age 5 and their parents/caregivers. Come in costume for trick-or-treat fun. Play-park entry and registration fees apply. The play park is located within Lake Oswego United Methodist Church, 1855 South Shore Blvd. in Lake Oswego.
Nov. 2-4, 8-10 — Lewis & Clark College music and theater departments present "Sweeney Todd" at Fir Acres Theatre on campus, 0615 S.W. Palatine Hill Road in Portland. Tickets range in price from $5-$15. Visit go.lclark.edu/events/calendar for tickets and showtimes.
