Nov. 15-17 (2 p.m.) — Northwest Senior Theatre presents "Twas the Daze Before Christmas" at Alpenrose Dairy Opera House, 6149 S.W. Shattuck Road, Portland. A show of favorite holiday tunes and more. Tickets are $5 cash or check at the door. Call 503-227-2003.
Nov. 15 (5 to 7 p.m.) — Rain Spark Gallery will host Barb Randall for a presentation of her book "Willamette Valley Wineries" at the holiday pop-up gift market, located in Lake View Village between Fleet Feet and Sur la Table. Tumwater Winery will be serving their wines and sharing information about the winery, too. Shop for artistic gifts for all on your list. Free. Call 971-294-2042.
Nov. 16, 17, 18 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) — Attend the 2018 Olio Nuovo Festival at Durant Olive Mill and Durant Vineyard. It's a celebration of freshly milled estate extra virgin olive oil. Take a tour of the mill, enjoy live Italian music and experience some of Oregon's top food producers in the local marketplace tent. Shop for holiday greens and decor in the gift shop. Nov. 17 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) — Join the celebration of Garden Time's 500th episode at Portland Nursery, 5050 S.E. Stark St., Portland OR 97215. Celebration with Jeff and Therese Gustin of Lake Oswego with cake, punch, drawings for prizes and cider tasting from Bauman Farms. Free and open to all.
Nov. 19 (7 p.m.) — Mary Flowers and the BBQ Boys presents the Music Monday concert at Lake Theater and Cafe, 106 N. State St. Mary Flower's award-winning fingerpicking guitar and lap-slide prowess is soulful and meter-perfect. When she joins the BBQ Boys, a joyous blend of blues, ragtime and swing is born. Tickets are $15 each. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Nov. 20 (7 p.m.) — R. Gregory Nokes will be the featured author of the Lake Oswego library's Third Tuesday Author Speak. He is the author of three non-fiction Western histories. His latest book is "The Troubled Life of Peter Burnett: Oregon Pioneer and First Governor of California," released this year. The event is free and open to all.
