Through Dec . 23 — Broadway Rose Theatre Company presents "A 1940s Radio Christmas Carol" at the New Stage, 12850 SW Grant Ave., Tigard. Tickets range in price from $30 to $48 for adults, $20 for children ages 6 through 18 and $25 for ages 19 through 30. Visit broadwayrose.org or call 503-620-5262.

Through Dec. 31 (4 to 9 p.m.) — Lighting of Maddax Woods, 5785 River St., West Linn. Enjoy a magical walk down a lighted, accessible path through the woods to the viewing platform on the Willamette River. Free.

Dec. 6 (5 to 8 p.m.) — Wood Middle School is hosting a pop-up holiday market, and serving breakfast for dinner, too. 11055 S.W. Wilsonville Road, Wilsonville.

Dec. 7 (7:30 p.m.) —Winter Choral Concert at Agnes Flanagan Chapel, Lewis & Clark College, 0615 S.W. Palatine Hill Road, Portland 97219. Features Cappella Nova Choir, Voces Auream Treble Chorus and Community Chorale. Tickets are $10 general admission, or view via live stream. Call 503-768-7788.

Dec. 7, 8, 9 and 10 (7 p.m.) — Attend free Christmas concerts at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Portland Temple Visitors' Center, 13600 S.W. Kruse Oaks Blvd., Lake Oswego. Hear vocal and instrumentalists from Visitors' Center Missionaries Dec. 7; vocalists Tricia Hornbeck and RoseMarie Gee Dec. 8; vocalists Heather Tanner, Danelle Dullum and Jackie Emmet Dec. 9 and Dennis Dalling and Kristina Munday on piano and violin Dec. 10. Dec. 8 (2 p.m.) — Book Notes Concert features Jass Two Plus One at Wilsonville Public Library, 8200 SW Wilsonville Road, Wilsonville. Free.

Dec. 8 (7:30 p.m.) — Lewis & Clark Wind Symphony and Percussion Ensemble Concert in Evans Hall on campus, 0615 SW Palatine Hill Road, Portland 97219. Tickets are $10 general admission. Call 503-768-7788.

Dec. 8 (3 p.m.) — I-5 Connection Chorus presents a Musical Christmas Party concert at Meridian United Church of Christ, 6750 Boeckman Road, Wilsonville. Program features a mix of sacred songs and secular songs. The concert is free.

Dec. 11 (7 p.m.) — Professional photographer Thor Spyros will talk about the craft of photography at the Lake Oswego Public Library, 706 4th St. He will provide detailed tips and suggestions for picking a subject, planning backgrounds and angles, using natural and artificial light and other topics. Spyros' photographs were published in a number of national publications including Rolling Stone magazine in the 1970s and '80s. He will use his photographs to illustrate the lessons. The event is free and open to all.
