Corey Brunish made his conducting debut on Broadway! What a way to end the year!

SUBMITTED PHOTO - Tony Award-winning actor, director, producer and writer Corey Brunish can add Broadway conductor to his long list of accomplishments. He made his Broadway conducting debut Dec. 8 with the 27-piece Phantom of the Opera orchestra at the Majestic Theatre for a sold-out house. Ive been around music and performed for most of my life, Brunish told The Review. And this was too good to pass up. It was a one-off event. It was an amazing experience. The Majestic Theatre was built in 1927 and seats 1,681. Phantom of the Opera is in its 30th year at the theatre.  Brunish lives in New York but still has ties to Portland and Lake Oswego.
