March 29 (4:30 to 10 p.m.) — World Class Wines, 149 A Ave., Lake Oswego, hosts a Friday Night Tasting featuring Brown Family Wines, tasting fee is $15 per flight. Call 503-974-9841.

March 30 (9 a.m.) — Watch Garden Time on KPDX Fox 12 Plus. This week's episode features segments on the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn, how gardeners use the phases of the moon to get a healthier garden and better harvest and mole control.

March 31 (2 to 5 p.m.) — Don't miss Franc & Beans, the annual chili competition and wine tasting at Southeast Wine Collective, 2425 SE 35th Place, Portland. Mingle with some of the area's best cabernet franc producers as they pour their wines, and pick your favorite Franc & Beans pairing. Cast your vote for your favorite chili in the People Choice award for Best Chili, and cabernet franc for Overall Favorite Wine. Tickets are $20 online at sewinecollective.com, or $25 at the door. Chili-only tickets are available for $15 for those under 21.

April 2 (5 to 7 p.m.) — Enjoy Tuesday Tunes at Nicoletta's Table, 333 S. State St., suite M in Lake Oswego. Hear Steve Hale, a singer/songwriter with a soul edge. Free.

Kerani Mitchell will lead an Oregon Humanities Conversation Project discussion April 2 starting at 6 p.m.

April 2 (6 to 7:30 p.m.) — The Arts Council of Lake Oswego is hosting "Where Are You From: Exploring What Makes Us Oregonians," an Oregon Humanities Conversation Project presented by Kerani Mitchell. This program was cancelled due to inclement weather, and was originally part of the Lake Oswego Reads program based on the book "The Book of Unknown Americans" by Cristina Henriquez. Free and open for all.

April 3 (7 p.m.) — Attend the master class presented by Uruguayan guitarist Eduardo Fernandez and New York-based guitarist David Leisner at Eliot Chapel, 1011 SW 12th Ave., Portland, presented by US Classic Guitar. Visit usclassicguitar.org for ticket information.

April 4 (8 p.m.) — Portland International Guitar Series XIV presents Uruguayan guitarist Eduardo Fernandez and New York-based guitarist David Leisner in concert at the historic Eliot Chapel, 1011 S.W. 12th Ave., Portland. Tickets start at $19. Order online at usclassicguitar.com.

April 5 (5 to 7 p.m.) — Closing reception for "HERE Now: Art Inspired by the Immigrant Experience" at the Arts Council of Lake Oswego, 510 First St., Lake Oswego. Free and open to all.
