benefit concert March 31
The Who's on Third Community Concert Series continues March 31 with the men's vocal group The Occasional Quartet from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Woodburn United Methodist Church, 700 N. Cascade Drive, Woodburn. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of canned food for the local food bank, and a freewill offering will be taken to help provide food for hungry families and seniors in the area.
The Occasional Quartet includes a minister, railroad engineer and music educators who use their musical talents to benefit the poor and homeless.
Celebrate Chocolates by Bernard's 20th anniversary
Chocolates by Bernard is celebrating its 20th year in business and invites the public to stop by and enjoy sparkling cider and hand-rolled champagne truffles from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 5 and 6. Providore Fine Foods hosting monthly chef's suppers
Providore Fine Foods is launching a monthly dinner program featuring a five-course meal that makes the most of the seasonal bounty and the global ingredients found at Providore. The evening begins with an aperitif served in the wine room, followed by dinner at the communal tables paired with European wines.
The first dinner in the series will take place at 7:30 p.m. April 10. Cost is $95 per person. The menu for this dinner includes aperitif of pork liver pate, pickled pepper relish, nigella seeds; marinated albacore with preserved Meyer lemon, sunflower and creme fraiche with early spring vegetable barigoule, toasted coriander and fine herbs; braised lamb ravioli, housemade ricotta, tomato butter and favas; beef short rib, quarte epices, spring garlic, beans, red wine-roasted carrots; and honeyed yogurt panna cotta, rhubarb, syrah and ginger streusel.

3 Leg Torso to play with Tabor Wind Ensemble
3 Leg Torso and Tabor Wind Ensemble will collaborate in a special concert to be held at 2:30 p.m. April 14 at McGuire Auditorium, Warner Pacific University, 2219 SE 68th Ave., in Portland. The Tabor Wind Ensemble is a newly formed adult group under the direction of Gene Burton. The group is comprised of music educators, university musicians, professional musicians and community musicians from throughout the Portland area.

Hear Ana Vidovic in concert, attend master class
US Classic Guitar President William Jenks has announed the next concert in the Portland Classic Guitar Series XIV will feature Ana Vidovic, taking place April 12 at 8 p.m. at Eliot Chapel, 1011 SW 12th Ave., Portland.
Vidovic comes from the small town of Karlovac near Zagreb, Croatia, and started playing guitar at the age of five. By the age of seven she had given her first public performance. At the age of 11 she was performing internationally, and at 13 became the youngest student to attend the prestigious National Musical Academy in Zagreb where she studied with Professor Istvan Romer. Vidovic's reputation in Europe led to an invitation to study with Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Conservatory where she graduated in 2005.
She will present a master class at 11 a.m. April 13 in the Eliot Chapel Channing Room.
