April 12 (9 p.m.) — LeMaster Soule Trio plays ballads, bossa, swing and laid back tunes at Buffalo Gap Saloon and Eatery, 6835 SW Macadam Ave., in the John's Landing neighborhood of Portland. Never a cover.
April 13 (9 a.m.) — Watch Garden Time on KPDX Fox 12 Plus. Episode includes segments on planting a container of plants that are attractive to friendly bees, a preview of Newberg's Camellia Fest and early spring blooms.
April 13 (9 a.m. to noon) — Grand opening celebration of Nekter Juice Bar in Kruse Village, 4859 SW Meadows Road suite 165, Lake Oswego. Get $116-ounce fresh juices and Superfood smoothies. First 50 people receive Nekter swag bags. All receive free samples, free entertainment.
April 13 (8 a.m. to 10 p.m.) — Attend the 12th annual Record Store day at Music Millennium, 3158 E Burnside, Portland. Celebrate the more than 1,000 independently owned music stores across the nation. Free gift bags while they last, live performance from Minus 5 and more. April 13 (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) — West Linn Riverview Lions Club will be accepting donations of non-perishable foods at the Safeway located at 22000 Salamo Road in West Linn. Donations will be delivered to West Linn Food Pantry.
April 13 (noon to 4 p.m.) — Attend the Baskin-Robbins Guest Appreciation celebration at the Milwaukie store, 13735 SE McLaughlin Blvd., Milwaukie. It's a family-friendly event featuring prizes, live entertainment and 99 cent ice cream scoops.
April 14 (2:30 p.m.) — Hear 3 Leg Torso with Tabor Wind Ensemble at McGuire Auditorium at Warner Pacific University, 2219 SE 68th Ave., Portland OR 97215. Tickets are $5 for students and senior, $8 for adults online at dbmonkey.com/buytix/197257.
April 14 (3 p.m.) — Music Concert presented in memory of beloved Lewis & Clark College music faculty members Franya Berkman and Obo Addy World at Lewis and Clark College. Admission is $10; held in Evans Auditorium on campus, 0615 SW Palatine Hill Road, Portland.
April 14 (3 p.m.) — Attend Peregrine Literary Series at Stickmen's Brew Pub, 40 N. State St., Lake Oswego. Authors Penelope Scambly Schott and Dale Champlin will read from new and previously published works. The event is free; donations of non-perishable foods to be donated to the Oregon Food Bank are encouraged. All ages are welcome to attend.
April 14 (3 p.m.) — Willamette Falls Symphony presents a spring concert at Oregon City United Methodist Church, 18955 S. South End Road, Oregon City. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students at the door. Children 12 and under are free with an adult or senior.
