Aug. 1-4 (seating opens at 7:30 p.m., shows start at 8:45 p.m.) — A-WOL Dance Collective: Aerial Without Limits presents Art in the Dark: Frost + Fur at Mary S. Young Park, 19900 Willamette Drive in West Linn. The performance showcases local aerial artists under the stars, suspended from old growth trees, featuring original music composed and performed by musician Chet Lyster. Aug. 3, 4 (5 p.m.) — Attend Willamette Valley Chamber Music Festival at J. Christopher Winery, 17150 NE Hillside Drive, Newberg. Following the theme of "Old World/New World" the event pairs wines with music. Tickets are $50 online at wvchambermusic.org.
Aug. 4 (6 p.m.) —Attend Portland Summerfest's Opera in the Park, the free annual outdoor opera performance at Washington Park Amphitheater, featuring Metropolitan Opera star Angela Meade singing highlights of "Aida" and "Don Carlo." Aug. 5 (7 p.m.) — Hear Ty Curtis, Jerry Jacques and Ryan Stadler in concert as the Music Monday concert at Lake Theater and Cafe, 106 N. State St., Lake Oswego.
