Event is a benefit for programs at Luscher Farm. Guests are encouraged to wear garden party clothing

Guests to Twilight on the Farm are encouraged to wear garden party attire and garden friendly footwear, as the event takes place on the farm.

Friends of Luscher Farm will hold its third annual Twilight on the Farm dinner Sept. 7 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Luscher Farm, 125 Rosemont Road in West Linn.

All are invited to spend the evening strolling the backfields and historic barn and enjoy a seasonally inspired farm to table menu created by Chef Pascal Chureau of Field and Vine. Local wines and brews plus appetizers will be passed, followed by a family-style dinner created by Chureau, and desserts made by On a Whim Studio. Many ingredients for the dinner will be provided by 47th Avenue Farm, the CSA growers at Luscher Farm.

Music for dancing will be provided by Dryland Farmers Band, and floral decor will be provided by Petals.

Friends of Luscher Farm works in partnership with the City of Lake Oswego and Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation. Its mission is to "support vibrant programs that provide environmental education, natural resource enhancement and sustainable urban agriculture while celebrating the legacy of Luscher Farm."

Twilight on the Farm will provide support for Friends of Luscher Farm which promotes numerous programs and activities at the farm, including the Luscher School to Farm internship, Children's Garden, community supported agriculture (CSA), habitat restoration and fundraising for infrastructure development.

Tickets are limited to 150 guests; they are $100 each until Aug. 15, then increase to $120. A portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible. Purchase online at luscherfriends.org.
