West Linn and Lake Oswego parks are filled with music this summer. Don't miss the free concerts. Bring a picnic and the family!

Get that picnic basket packed and load up the sand chairs — there are free concerts and movies to attend this week in Lake Oswego and West Linn parks. Here's this week's lineup:

THURSDAY, AUG. 1 (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.) — West Linn's Music in the Park concert features Grand Illusion, a Styx tribute band, playing at Tanner Creek Park, 3456 Parker Road. Grand Illusion's impressive roster of musicians features four lead vocalists, enabling them to faithfully recreate songs from one of the most commercially successful rock bands of all time.

SUNDAY, AUG. 4 (6 to 7:30 p.m.) — Lake Oswego's Moonlight and Music concert features 3 Leg Torso at Millennium Plaza Park, 200 First St. 3 Leg Torso creates charming, elegant and daring modern chamber pop music infused with the authenticity of folk music, the passion of world music, the precision of classical music and the enthusiasm of rock n' roll. Influenced by tango, Eastern European folk and other world music traditions, their cosmopolitan musical style embraces wit and humor within thoughtful, uncommon and beautiful musical arrangements. The band is made up of Bela Balogh (violin, trumpet), Courtney Von Drehle (accordion), Mike Murphy (double bass), Gary Irvine and TJ Arko (both play mallets and percussion).

The Sounds of Summer concert series moves to Westlake Park this Wednesday. Hear Stump City Soul starting at 6:30 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 7 (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.) — The Sounds of Summer concerts move to Westlake Park, 14165 Bunick Drive, Lake Oswego. The concert features Stump City Soul, a collection of lifelong musicians from the Pacific Northwest with a passion for the solid gold hits of the 1960s and '70s. Stump City Soul delivers high energy dance tunes and features a full horn section and the amazing vocal talent of Dustin Bumgarner.

THURSDAY, AUG. 8 (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.) — West Linn's Concert in the Park features Stump City Soul, so if you miss them at Westlake Park on Wednesday head over to Tanner Creek Park on Thursday.

Movies in the park

Movies in the Park begin at dusk (between 8:30 and 9 p.m.) regardless of the location. This week's screenings include:

AUG.1 — "Incredibles 2" at Westlake Park, 14165 Bunick Drive, Lake Oswego.

AUG. 2 — "The House With a Clock in the Walls" at Marylhurst Heights Park, 1800 Valley View, West Linn.

AUG. 9 — "Incredibles 2" at Mary S. Young Park, 19900 Willamette Drive, West Linn.
