OMHOF induction set
The 13th annual Oregon Music Hall of Fame (OMHOF) Induction Ceremony and Concert will be held at the Aladdin Theater at 7 p.m. Oct. 12. The event honors Oregonians who significantly influenced the world of music, and is a benefit for music education in Oregon.
Musical performances during the ceremony include several of this year's inductees, Pond, Little Sue, Michael Hurley, rock band Sequel, Mark Lindsey and Steve West. There will also be a guitar auction, with signed guitars from the Indigo Girls, John Prine, B-52s, Chicago and The National.
Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. A special VIP ticket is available for $100 and includes prime seating, a hand signed and numbered silk-screened Gary Houston poster and admission to the after show VIP catered party. Artists being inducted in the OMHOF include: 3 Leg Torso, Dick Berk, Little Sue, Mark Lindsay, Michael Allen Harrison, Michael Hurley and Pond. Side Players to be inducted include Joanna Bolme, John Mazzocco. Industry members being inducted include Don Macleod, Gary Houston, Larry Crane and Paul Knauls.
Selected for winner of Album of the Year is the Decemberists "I'll Be Your Girl," and Artist of the Year is Ural Thomas and The Pain.
