West Linn Lutheran Church invites all to view the photography of artists Dayle Askey, Tara Shepersky and Donna Herzfeldt-Kamprath through November.

West Linn Luthern Church welcomes photographers Dayle Askey, Tara Shepersky and Donna Herzfeldt-Kamprath to the Creative Spirits Art Gallery through the month of November. These artists will be present at an open house taking place at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6. The reception will also feature harp music performed by Doanne Brown.

The theme of the exhibition is Thin Places.

Askey works with iPhone applications to create "magical works of art" from her photos of places, flowers, vegetables and puddle reflections.

Shepersky's photographs are mounted on richly colored wooden blocks and accompanied by her original poetry.

Herzfeldt-Kamprath presents collections that invited reflections on the theme through patterns and textures, hands and water scenes.

The three artists also created an interactive exhibit called "Florilegia" which invites viewers to connect words with images.

West Linn Lutheran Church is located at 20390 Willamette Drive, West Linn. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, Tuesday evenings, Sunday mornings and any other time the church is open. Learn more about the exhibition online at
