Dec. 13 through 22 — See the Christmas Revels "Ghosts of Haddon Hall," an English celebration of the winter solstice at Newmark Theatre, 1111 S.W. Broadway, Portland. Performances are planned for afternoons and evenings. Visit portlandrevels.org or call 503-274-4654.

Dec. 13 (7:30 p.m.) — Celebrate the holiday season by hearing West Linn High School's choir with Oregon Repertory Singers in the Glory of Christmas, taking place at First United Methodist Church, 1838 SW Jefferson St., Portland. Tickets range in price from $20 to $40. Call 800-838-3006.

Dec. 14 (10:30 a.m.) — See "Wing It!" at Osterman Theatre on the Clackamas Community College campus, 19600 Molalla Ave., Oregon City. Audience members help five silly creatures get out of a jam and learn their lessons when they misbehave. Tickets are $5 per person at the door.

Dec. 14 (2 p.m.) — Local author Steve Davala (who teaches chemistry and physics at West Linn High) will talk about "The Soulkind Master," the final book in his Soulkind series, at the West Linn library, 1595 Burns St., West Linn. Free and open to all.

Dec. 14 (2 p.m.) — Take part in the I-5 Connection family holiday celebration at Meridian United Church of Christ (Frog Pond Church) in Wilsonville. The concert is free and open to all.

Dec. 15 (1:30 and 7 p.m.) — Attend the Bells & Brass concert at Lake Grove Presbyterian Church, 4040 Sunset Drive, Lake Oswego. Free and open to all. Concert features favorite Christmas carols played by the church's Covenant Bell Choir and members of the Oregon Symphony.

Dec. 15 (6 p.m.) — Clap your hands, stomp your feet and shout for joy at LaRhonda Steele's Soul-Filled Christmas Concert at The Unity Center, 20255 Willamette Drive, West Linn. The concert features Steele and her family plus members of the Portland Interfaith Gospel Choir. Tickets are $20 online at worldhealing.org, (click on What's Happening and scroll to the bottom of the page,) or $25 at the door.

Dec. 16 (7 p.m.) — Hear "A Soulful Christmas," a special evening with Lilla & Friends at Lake Theater and Cafe, 106 N. State St., Lake Oswego. The Music Monday concert is in support of her new EP release "Soul Love." Tickets are $15 or $80 for VIP seating for four closest to the stage. Visit laketheatercafe-com.seatengine.com.
