Get your toes tapping to Puddin' River Jazz Band

All are invited to tap your toes and cut a rug when the Puddin' River Jazz Band plays, starting at 7 p.m. March 14 at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Willamette Falls, 710 6th St., Oregon City. The band plays vintage rock and roll, blues, boogie, swamp beat and early New Orleans-style dance music. The event is family-friendly. Refreshments will be available. Admission is a suggested donation of $20 per person, but no one will be turned away.

Willamette Falls Symphony to present spring concert

Willamette Falls Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Mark Perlman, music director and conductor, will present a spring concert March 8 at 3 p.m. at Oregon City United Methodist Church, 18955 S. South End Road in Oregon City. The program includes Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Felix Mendelssohn's The Hebrides Overture and Giovanni Bottesini's Double Bass Concerto No. 1, featuring Colin Corner as soloist.

Tickets are available at the door (cash or check only please) or on the website Cost is $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors and children under 12 admitted free with adults.
