Student Success Act survey open until Oct. 14, LO ski swap this weekend, Laker Youth Dance Clinic

Student Success Act needs assessment

The Lake Oswego wants to hear your voice as they plan for future investments in education made possible by the Student Success Act. The district invites you to take the Needs Assessment Survey and let them know what's working, what they could do better and what your priorities are for program improvements. The survey will be available online until Oct. 14. The survey is available at www.research.net/r/losdssa.

Lake Oswego Ski Swap

The 47th Annual Lake Oswego Ski Swap will take place Saturday, Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Lakeridge High School Cafeteria (1235 Overlook Drive, Lake Oswego). $5 per person or $10 per family, and kids under 12 are free.

Winter sport enthusiasts will find a variety of gently used and new ski and snowboard gear: skis, snowboards, boots, poles, helmets, accessories and clothing in a huge variety of sizes.

You'll find gear from professional sport equipment vendors selling demos, past models and lightly used rental gear; sponsored skiers selling racing gear; and local ski and snowboarding families who are ready to part with their equipment.

Drop off gently used ski and snowboard gear at the Cafeteria of Lakeridge High School on Friday, Oct. 11 from 4-7 p.m. Proceeds benefit the LOHS and LHS high school ski teams.
